Create 7z Files

Create 7z archives with optimal compression settings using 7-Zip.

Quick Create

Select files, right-click > 7-Zip > Add to archive. Default format is 7z with LZMA2 Normal compression. Click OK.

Best Compression Settings

For maximum compression: set Level to Ultra, Method to LZMA2, Dictionary Size to 64 MB or higher, Word Size to 273, and enable Solid Archive.

Adding Password

In the Encryption section, enter a password and check "Encrypt file names" for maximum security. Uses AES-256 encryption.
